CANCELLED BY TEXT ON THE MORNING OF OUR WEDDING:

THE MORNING OF OUR WEDDING :
We awoke the morning of our wedding, not to champagne, butterflies and giggles but to a text message from Nicola Milns photography cancelling! She cancelled the morning of our wedding! Can you imagine?!
Nicola said that this was due to her "coming down with flu the night before and feeling too unwell to shoot". In the text she also said that she had "sent a couple of messages to two wedding photographers that she knows to see if they're free and will let me know as soon as she hears anything".
Our maid of honour finally managed to speak to her - other than saying she had sent a couple of messages to photographers and was just waiting to hear - Nicola's advice in the meantime was to "Google London / Esssex wedding photographers"
HOLLY'S TWEET LAST YEAR: We also spoke to Holly Mould who was cancelled by Nicola Milns Photography due to Nicola attending an alternative family engagement..
Only after spending our whole morning stressing, emailing & calling other photographers did we finally find an excellent replacement ( 2 and a half hours before Nicola Milns Photography was due to start)
Nicola finally said that she had found someone to cover for her, unfortunately for us it was too little too late!
We will say that we are fully aware that people can become unwell and personal issues can arise but we can only share our honest personal experience of booking Nicola Milns Photography for our wedding and this blog does not intend to be malicious or defamatory. We just can't bear the thought of this happening to any other brides on the morning of their wedding. After we found a reliable photographer with only 2 hours to spare - the rest of the day was incredible & we lived happily ever after.
Please note: After Nicola Milns threatened to take legal action against us for defamation of character & slander due to our online review - I have spoken to Nicola Milns directly & expressed to her once again our dissappointment of her not being able to attend our wedding due to flu. I also expressed that it is only fair that we have a platform to share our personal experience of her services & our view of what happened on the day. As Nicola Milns photography does not have any social media platforms ie Facebook, Twitter etc or a customer ratings page on her website where customers can write honest reviews - I felt it necessary to share our experience of the service we experiened on my own online platforms.
